Services and Information INTRODUCTION
I quote Apostle Paul from the Bible (using either the Revised Standard Version or the New Revised Standard Version for Windows®, by Linguist’s Software) only when doing so contributes to the understanding of the Apostle I have come to know. I am not a Bible scholar, that is to say, it is not my intent to present to you a critical account of the Apostle from a scholarly perspective, although I do quote what a few scholars have to say about certain aspects of Paul. Also, I chose to use the God word despite historical connotations connected to it because it felt the best term to use when writing about the Apostle, and I have used the traditional reference to God as male, even though I know that the Source of all things has no gender. Lastly, I share with you specific quotations from my journals and for the most part, they are in chronological order. You may recognize some repetition from one journal to the next but if this occurs, it’s because it serves as foundation for the further clarification which that specific journaling offers. CHAPTER
ONE
Once I understood this, I knew I needed to feel into the Apostle to learn who he really was. With the help of information I received from non-physical entities combined with my own journaling, I have gained a wealth of insights regarding both the nature and aspects of this dear beloved Apostle named Paul, and some other lifetimes as well. What I learned is that the aspects of the Apostle have controlled my nearly every move since that lifetime. This awareness became the catalyst to catapult me into making new choices, which have allowed for a great deal of healing. Today, baby boomers are either retiring or getting ready to and yet, there are many who are now asking themselves the question, “Who am I?” and wondering what the purpose of their life really is. Even among young adults there is some soul searching going on. Answers are not necessarily readily available because humans live under the illusion of being separate from God and each other and this illusion greatly limits our ability to allow ourselves to be fully expressed. However, in the 60s a revolution of consciousness was birthed, planting seeds in which today, 40+ years later, are beginning to sprout. Some are calling this time “The New Energy.” It is an unprecedented time in which we are being asked by our souls to remember who we really are. The divine wants and is beginning to meld with the human. A few years ago I was in a metaphysical bookstore getting a reading from a psychic. This particular woman was spiritually open to an extent and she told me she saw a man near me with the name of John who wore glasses, and he was telling me there was something I needed to do but he wasn’t saying what it was. When the reading was over I thanked her and went to the counter to pay for an item I was buying. When I looked at the cashier I could see a poster on the wall behind her that in large bold print read: Quit your bitching and start
a revolution. Immediately upon seeing this poster I got a rush and knew exactly who the man named John who wore glasses was—John Lennon. And, I knew exactly what he was telling me I needed to do, and this book is part of it. At the time I was trying to promote my first book and complaining that things weren’t working out quite the way I was hoping. This wasn’t the first time I’d felt a connection with Lennon. The Beatles played a huge role in starting the revolution of consciousness and when they split up, he continued on with a commitment to speak out for peace, risking his life. Since his death I have felt his presence around me many times. If peace is something we truly want then we can have it, for the ultimate purpose of this consciousness revolution is that we remember that we are divine beings who create our own reality. Our record at creating peace historically has not been a very successful one and that is because as creators, we’ve been limited to a very small version of who we think we are and what we believe we are capable of achieving. To truly achieve peace will require a revolution of heart, one in which we move out of the guidance of the mind, what some call ego, which has dominated humanity as a false god since the beginning, and into the guidance of the heart, where the true God dwells and offers true guidance in all of us. When asking deep questions about life such as “who am I?” or “what is the purpose of my life?” humans are notorious for looking outside themselves for answers. While this isn’t necessarily a bad thing, if it’s the only place we look, it will eventually lead to a dead end. The reason is that you are the only person who knows what’s best for you, who you are, and what your purpose is, and to find your answers to these questions, it is imperative that you look inside your soul. Other peoples advice, given through either friends, books, seminars or what have you, are helpful to an extent but there comes a time when you realize that you alone know the answer to all your questions. With that in mind, this book offers the following: • It reveals an entirely
new perspective on who God is and why He created the world We all at one time or another
have wondered about God—who or what is this being? In the next chapter
I’ll tell you my version of why God decided to create the world
and what role we play in His creation. I’ll also discuss an evolutionary
process that began with cave men and is today culminating with what some
are calling the “New Energy.”
