Welcome to Mastering the Art of True Love
|
First, on this web site I use the terms “soul” and “Source” interchangeably but they refer to the same thing. Called God by religion, I call it Source so as to stay away from any potentially offensive religious association that may have been placed on the term “God.” THE NEW ENERGY A new era has dawned upon humanity. Many are calling it “The New Energy”. It is a time in which we are beginning the process of the divine melding with the human (for a more detailed explanation of what the divine melding with the human means, see my Blog). In essence, this means that as a human race we are now ready to become the compassionate loving beings that we’ve always known we are. This new era is being called by some as "The New Energy" and its arrival marked a major shift in the way energy works. The New Energy is expansional, which means the engine of creativity (our ability to create what we truly want) is now fueled by passion (what your soul desires to experience). In the New Energy, what you choose to do is motivated by passion and passion comes from your soul. This is fundamentally different from the way creativity worked up until now, where working hard (struggling) to get ahead was necessary. Today this “no pain, no gain” model is simply no longer supported by the New Energy and this has been a bit disconcerting for the average human, to say the least. It is actually an illusion that we are separate from Source and each other and our ways of maintaining this illusion of separation just don’t quite work any longer. In this New Energy we are being called by our soul to find a deeper level source for our sense of security and well being, and that Source is the real you, which is the unconditional, loving, compassionate being that I spoke of on my home page. OUR CONSCIOUSNESS IS BEGINNING TO SHIFT As Source, we managed to convince ourselves (in our heads) that we’re just a small human. When you consider the ramifications of this, it's quite an impressive accomplishment in and of itself, that the creator of all things some how managed to limit itself to the point of even forgetting who it is! We have created an identity for ourselves and keep that image locked in our heads so we now have a “story” (our history) and everywhere we go we relate to people as that identity. Your soul came here to meld with the human (who you think and say you are) so that it (the real you) could experience itself while living within your body. What does it mean that the divine is melding with the human? To understand what I’m talking about I will use the analogy of a movie actor. While playing a character, a really good actor will identify so strongly with the character that the audience becomes convinced that that is who they really are. Of course, the actor knows he isn’t the character and when filming is finished, he walks away from that particular role. Well, who you think you are is actually only a character you’ve been playing since birth but the real you, the actor, is Source. Can you the actor walk away from the character of who you think you are? Yes, but only when you can truly accept that you really are Source and then choose to identify with being unconditional love. Doing so as much as possible is the first and most important step to take in the melding process. On some level within we are asking ourselves the question, “who am I?”, although not necessarily on a conscious level. But life's circumstances have caused nearly all of us to stop and wonder that there’s got to be more to life than what we perceive as the daily existence we have come to know and live. This desire to remember who we really are has accelerated in recent times, thanks to a feeling of uneasiness and even fear that is growing in all of us. Life isn't quite as predictable as it used to be and this is threatening our sense of security. These are the signs of the New Energy and these feelings are compelling us to go within to find a deeper meaning to life. The recent Earth changes that have been occurring are actually supporting this melding process, causing an international out pouring of compassion, which is expanding our hearts, as well as to draw attention to certain survival issues that need to be addressed to assure a more peaceful and meaningful future existence. This acceleration of remembering who we are is compelling us towards an inevitable culmination in which we will all collectively choose to take a quantum leap of consciousness into an entirely new paradigm of existence. This leap of consciousness is being targeted by some to occur in December of 2012. Although no one really knows the exact moment when it will happen, there is definitely a general consensus that some type of consciousness shift is inevitable. Eventually, an entirely new way of existence, one that is not governed by power (which is what feeds the mind) but rather, by authenticity (living in the heart), will begin to emerge. WE ARE NOT WHO WE THINK WE ARE The heart is our true home because who we really are, the unconditionally loving being called Source, lives there. The mind is not capable of experiencing Source, it is only capable of analyzing life in an attempt to understand or grasp what it is, and this is what it has been doing historically. We trained our minds to guide us (rather than our hearts). The mind is a wonderful tool for helping us act on choices made in the heart, but it was never meant to actually make those choices. As a guide, the mind has done a very poor job to say the least. It doesn't understand the heart. In fact, it fears the heart. Allowing the divine to meld with us is perhaps the hardest thing a human could possibly do because it requires letting go of our current identity (with the mind) and re-connecting to a deeper soul level awareness of knowing we are Source. This means identifying with the heart rather than the mind. The advantage of allowing the divine to meld with the human is that doing so allows your perception of your world to completely shift so you can begin to accept it for what it is. You learn to feel life from the heart rather than analyze it from the mind. With some patience and practice, you can find an emotional balance that allows appreciation and joy to become a mainstay, so your adventure on this planet becomes not just tolerable, but acceptable and even preferred! We are not here to collect things or to achieve goals, although these are added bonuses when we choose to remember who we are, for life can indeed be a pleasurable experience. OUR ASPECTS We all have hundreds if not thousands of what I call “aspects”. At times when life was too much to deal with we created an aspect that allowed us to survive the circumstances we found ourselves in emotionally. In other words, staying in the heart in such moments was too painful, so part of us got stuck in an area of our mind, somewhere within our psyche, that felt safe, creating an aspect. This means we actually became split within ourselves. Although only an illusion, the aspect became a real part of our existence. Each time we created another aspect we were in effect alienating ourselves from who we are a little bit more. As children, we intuitively knew who we were and felt the joy of existence but over time, as we created more and more aspects, we eventually became so separated from ourselves that we lost touch with Source. Therefore, we don’t feel the wonderful joy and love we did at some point in our childhood, perhaps not at all. But this separation is actually only an illusion that our minds have completely accepted and therefore the illusion appears to be real. All these aspects are hanging around and at any given time any one or more of them can pop up and wreak havoc on our emotions. The good news is, there absolutely is a way to heal these aspects. ASPECTS NEED TO BE ACCEPTED AND EXPERIENCED FULLY Several years ago I made a commitment to myself to break free of my own addictions, particularly to my addiction to emotional pain, no matter what it took. This has proven to be no easy task. The first thing I had to do was accept that what my soul came to do in this lifetime is to break free of the control that all my aspects have had over me. When I was able to accept this, I realized I often had a battle going on within myself between several of my aspects. My tendency was to side with the aspects I could relate to and to push away the rest of them. But this only caused those pushed away to go back into hiding and sooner or later they always popped up again and re-created the same battle. As you can imagine, this made life quite challenging. Perhaps you can relate to this. One day I discovered that accepting and honoring each aspect within me rather than denying them was the beginning of becoming emotionally balanced. This allowed me to begin loving myself (and others) coming from a place of compassion (compassion by the way means, “come passion”). The more compassion I have, the more I am able to accept and honor even the most difficult to love of my aspects. Once fully loved and accepted, the energy that was hitherto locked inside the aspects now became available to serve me in a more productive way. In other words, my passion started to reveal itself. Thus, compassion opened the door to passion! For the divine to meld with the human fully, it is necessary for us to accept all aspects, bar none. This means experiencing the emotion that is caused when the aspect pops up without judgment and without pushing it away. Accepting it for what it is and embracing it with compassion allows the aspect to balance itself so that it has less of a need to act out (be controlling or dominating). This is what the New Energy is all about. It is the process of creating a safe and sacred space within where compassion is birthed and then expands outward in every direction, eternally. It is a place of peace and joy. When an aspect pops up you go to your safe space and re-connect to the love that you are. From this place you then embrace the aspect, letting it know you love and honor it, that everything is going to be Ok. To create this inner space you have to take time to go inside yourself and discover the compassionate, unconditionally loving being that dwells in there. This requires a commitment to yourself, being willing to make discovering who you really are your top priority, more important than anything else. To get to this level of commitment takes time but the best thing you can do is start. Be gentle with yourself and allow yourself to falter in your commitment (trust me, it’s going to happen). Set aside some time each day to breathe and relax, which helps to calm the mind a bit. This also helps you to begin feeling your heart. While breathing, tell yourself how much you love you. Slowly, you will cultivate a compassion that will begin to grow and expand and will become a foundation inside you that no one could possibly take away from you. This foundation is your inner Source of security and comfort. The more you experience it, the less need you will have to look outside yourself for it. It is my passion to share with you that melding with the divine is absolutely possible. It just requires actively choosing to identify with the compassionate being that you are on a conscious level. Your entire life can change by making one simple choice—to begin loving and accepting everything about yourself at any given moment. True love is saying yes to everything without exception. This intent alone begins the process of the divine melding with the human and causes forces unseen by human eyes to begin helping you in this melding process. _______________________________________________________________________________ AN OPEN INVITATION FROM MY HEART TO ALL.
